Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

Next

The purpose of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) personality inventory is to make the theory of psychological types described by C. Jung understandable and useful in people's lives.

The essence of the theory is that much seemingly random variation in behaviour is actually quite orderly and consistent, due to basic differences in the ways individuals prefer to use perception and judgment.

Ankaris SG Director Kelly Olafson is certified in the MBTI® Step I™ and Step II™ instruments and this one day seminar will cover the following topic areas

Specific topics include:

Workshop objectives

Administration of the questionnaire

Explanation of Type Theory with self-assessment

Verification of Type

Self Estimate

Work type

Best-fit type

Reading of Profiles

Introduction to the Type Table

The E-I Dichotomy (Improving Communication)

The S-N Dichotomy (Using different types of information)

The T-F Dichotomy (Making better decisions)

The J-P Dichotomy (Time management styles)

By the end of the workshop, participants will understand the theory, their own personality type, and will be sensitized to the fact that colleagues, customers and clients can process information, and therefore see the world, in different ways than themselves.
